Our Story

"I lived my years as a teen chasing dawn patrols up and down the rugged Cornish coast with my closest surf mates. no shaping bays or beach cafés, just a car full of boards and an insatiable hunger for the next swell. The idea for Crush ignited back in school when I had to design a simple double‑page magazine spread on surfing; that project planted the seed for everything I’m doing today. After graduation, I loaded up the car and set off on a massive surf trip. finding perfect reef breaks in Indonesia, hidden peaks in Australia, and raw, untamed lines in New Zealand. Those months living out of a duffel bag and chasing waves cemented my vision: to build a magazine that feels as grassroots, soulful, and stoked as the surf community itself. As editor‑in‑chief, I pour all of that experience and passion into every issue, making sure Crush stays true to its roots and celebrates the real stories of everyday riders. "
